Planning a destination wedding in Cancun/Rivera Maya from US was a task I knew I would need assistance with, although I’m from Mexico and I speak Spanish, I knew I needed help. One of my friends married in Tulum in 2014, and she suggested me to contact Joss for our wedding, my friend was very happy of how easy and great was her wedding with the help of Joss.

When I contacted Joss, she understood what were looking for our wedding, sent me venues’ proposals, so we could decide which ones to check out. We went to Cancun 11 months before our wedding date to visit the venues, Joss was great in every detail, scheduled our visits and she accompanied us in each venue, helping us with suggestions of what to do in each of them, asking questions to the venues’ managers -questions that sometimes you don’t even think about-. She even suggested us some places to eat while we were there, which my husband loved, and took us to some great tacos place outside of the Tourist area.

As Joss owns Cancun Unique Weddings, it is an extremely personalized service, if some vendors were out of our price range Joss would either negotiate or look elsewhere. She doesn’t like to sell a package deal, but rather tailors the wedding to the needs of the client.

She took all my ideas, even the ones that were last minutes ideas, and incorporated them into the day, and let me tell you it was exactly how I wanted it to be!! Our families and friends told us that they had an amazing time and that everything was great!

Throughout our wedding day, Joss and her team stayed behind the scenes but always near in case of any questions or problems. The only thing my husband and I did during the wedding day was to enjoy it!
